Summary: The king thought that he was in charge, but God showed him that He was.

Daniel 4:1-17

Daniel 4:9-O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof. (KJV)

Daniel 4:18-19

Daniel 4:18-This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee. (KJV)

Daniel’s concern for Nebuchadnezzar!

Daniel 4:20-27

Bound With A Band Of Iron And Bronze-A Fence!

Daniel 4:28-33

They Shall Make You Eat Grass Like Oxen-He thought he was the cream of the crop, so God pasteurized him!

One minute he’s eating Filet Mignon and the next minute he’s eating what Filet Mignon eats!

Here is the king who has won more conquest than anybody else, he has a bigger kingdom than any body else, he is the greatest king of his time, he has gone as far up as he can go…you could basically say, “He is outstanding in his field!!!”…Now literally, He is out standing…in his field!

He has had riches untold, but now he is scratching for his living!

Daniel 4:34-37

This is not the only time this not the only time that a person begins to think they are animal, they even have a name for it, so some might say, “Then how do you know God caused it?” The answer to that is simple…He is the only one who could keep someone else off the throne for seven years, while the king is eating grass, and then restore him back to right were he was before he left! Only God Could Do That!

Ever had something happen and you wonder why, or you cried out why or asked God, “What have You done?”

Why Did This Happen And Why Do We Need To Know It Happened? The Answer is found in Verse 17-In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men…And in Verse 25-till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men…And again in Verse 26-after you come to know that Heaven rules, One more time in Verse 32-until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men

Whenever you question why God does something that you don’t understand then remember what Nebuchadnezzar says in Verse 37-Whose Works Are Truth, And His Ways Justice!

You may never have a kingdom, but you are the King or Queen over your domain, you have the remote in your hand and you rule your world!

You may look around and see the car you drive and the house you live in and the family you have and say to yourself, “I Did This! Or I Accomplished This!”

You have been on the throne way to long and it is time for you to put God on the throne of your heart!

Don’t Make God Put You Out To Pasture!
