How Do You Honor Your Father?

How do you honor your father on Father's Day, some will send a card, others will drop by, many will send an e-mail. How can you honor your father on Father's Day, (first, second, third), You can honor your father by remembering:

1. Forgiveness.

How can you honor your father this year, you can forgive his faults, failures, and misfortunes. The Bible say's in Ephesians 4:32, "and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." How can you honor your father, first, by forgiving him.

2, By Remembering His Faith.

How can you honor your father by remembering his faith when he lost a child, or he lost a job, or he lost a loved one. Even when your father was at his weakest moment, the Bible say's in Joshua 21:45,that God never fails, "there failed not of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel." God never fails! He'll be with you through every valley! How can you honor your father, you can honor his faith.

3. By Moving Forward.

How can you honor your father, by moving forward, and being a better person. to you family, friends, and fellowman. Make it your prayer today to plant your feet on higher ground! In Psalm 40: 1-2, the word say's, "I waited patiently for the Lord: and he inclined unto me and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings." How can you honor your father, by moving forward.
