Holy Battle Buddy

The Holy Spirit is your battle buddy. He has your six. He has your flank. He is your point man. He is your FAO as He sees the movements and troop strength of your enemy long before you do. He is your air support. Your prayer is the call for air support and He will drop His napalm upon your enemies, your temptations and your sins. When you call for that air support you commit the battle into His hands. You do not advance until He does His work. You sit in your foxhole and watch His work and rejoice when He handles the battle.

The Word is your primary weapon and the Holy Spirit is the ammunition that give life to the Word. Many have the Word and are defeated for they lack the Holy Spirit or refuse to allow Him to load the Word with life giving power.

He is your medic. When you have been wounded. He comes to bring healing and strength. He is your radioman that takes your calls for help to the HQ and there is no static or communication drops. God, the Commander-in-Chief has delegated the Battle Book to implemented to Jesus, the Captain of the Hosts. Victory is inevitable.

The Holy Spirit is your DI that trains you in truth and prepares you for battle. He is your friend that knows when you need a word of comfort and exhortation and when you need a kick in the tail. He is faithful to do what you need because He and the HQ loves you more than any brother here. He never leaves a man behind. He is your extraction team should you be taken by the enemy. He will not allow you to stay a POW. He will pull you from the battle and give you a Holy R&R. One day, He will extract you from the battlefield as Jesus finishes the battle and brings you with Him to reign over His enemies. His rewards are far beyond some fruit salad on your Class As.

Your enemy will try to separate your from Him. He will speaks lies. He will say that you have been abandoned in the battle. He will tell that victory can never be yours. He will tell you that your only hope is to surrender. Do not yield to those lies. Your enemy is heartless and cruel. He has no mercy and he will beat you down and seek to your destruction. Call out to the Holy Spirit even if it is a tired whisper as it will be heard in an instant in HQ and your battle-buddy will be sent. Indeed, He has always been by you side, but call out and the smoke of the battle will clear and you see Him and those who are on you side that are greater than those against you. Indeed, at time we are our own worst enemy, but God is ore than able to free us from our self made POW camps restoring us to being victorious warriors.

The battle is hot! Having done all stand fast and see the glory of God rout the enemy and make you overcome a troop and leap over a wall! Hallelujah! Maranatha!!!
