Joshua 22:5 "But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul."
1 Corinthians 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast
2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. that word which I preached to you; unless you believed in vain.
IV. Hold fast to assebling with Christ’s church (Acts 4:22-33 Heb 10:24-26)
V. Hold fast to the good

VII. Mercy and truth
Proverbs 3:3 let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart,
VIII. Hold fast to instruction
Proverbs 4:13 Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; keep her, for she is your life.
IX. Hold fast to the confession of your faith
Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
X. Hold fast to the name of Christ
Revelation 2:13 "I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
CONCLUSION:
1. Some people hold fast to the wrong things.
Jeremiah 8:5 Why then has this people slidden back, Jerusalem, in a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, they refuse to return.
2. Revelation 3:11 "Behold, I come quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
