Summary: It’s good to be successful but the most important call in our life is to be careful!

Hold fast!

Revelations 3:11”Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”

• It’s good to be successful but the most important call in our life is to be careful!

• It’s fine to be ambitious and aggressively passionate about being victorious but most important is to be pious and righteous!

Are you listening?

Usian Bolt who has won six Olympic gold medals in his career, wants to win more gold in Rio, set another world record in the 200 meters next year, and perhaps win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. “If I want to be among the greats of (Muhammad) Ali and Pele and all these guys I have to continue dominating until I retire," said Usian Bolt. Bolt is after the next Olympic crown, such aspirations are good; nevertheless, God tells us to hold on to our crown of life and not let it slip! Do you hear me???

For the 20th year in a row, Bill Gates has been named the richest man in America, according to the Forbes annual list, which was published on Monday. Gates is worth $72 billion! Such enormous wealth is certainly lip-smacking, but God today tells us to hold on to our crown of life and not let it slip! I got to preach this message in the midst of a generation who are running berserk after fame, grandeur, flamboyance, success and opulence; somewhere during the hunt, we have lost the ingredients required for true happiness. No wonder we have more divorces, murder and blood! I am speaking to someone out there who has forgotten God and church! Repent!

Economist, management guru, author, speaker and transformational leader ( so called), Arindam Chaudhuri charges huge amount for a speaking engagement of 90 minutes. We are truly mesmerized and bewitched with success and trophies that we would love to know the ‘formula!’ Did you know God has given us the formula for a triumphant life? Read: Deuteronomy 28:1"Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.” Observe the words ‘above all nations?’ Powerful! Have you ever delved deep into this promise by God? He would never lie. Try this formula. Will you? Stop running behind mirages!

Man of God John Wesley, while being shown through a nobleman’s house, admired the expensive works of art and other symbols of wealth and culture. “I too could love these things,” he said, “but there is another world. I want to know one thing, the way to heaven; how to land safe on that happy shore. God Himself has condescended to teach the way; for this end He came from heaven. He hath written it down in a book. Give me that book! At any price give me the Book of God!”

To start with aim for the crown of life and then hold on to it!
