Strength in Arms!

Deuteronomy 33:27“The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, Destroy.”

As I crossed the AOC (Army quarters) I saw a polished, shining, brass board that said in big capital letters, ‘STRENGTH IN ARMS’ that was displayed in more than one place. Good. We have a whole group of security personnel that are deployed to guard important VIPs and VVIPs of our country: The SPG (Special Protection Group), NSG (National Security Guards), ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) and CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force). When Mr.Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of our country, not only the PM but also a whole lot of his family members that includes his three brothers, two sisters, his mother and also his wife who lives separately got SPG security while the PM got Z + category security which includes 36 personnel (besides home guards) armed with sophisticated MP5 guns and modern communication gadgets and each member of the team are adept in martial arts and unarmed combat skills. Boy! Great Privilege indeed! Well, despite all these sophisticated security systems, many VIPs have been shot dead in the past! Think! The high end lock that you trust to protect your home in your absence may not live up to its expectation but the J+ Category Security that is offered by Jesus and His angels for His beloved children would never ever, never ever, never ever fail! Hallelujah! The Lord said, Zechariah 2:8”…..he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.” “ Yes there is Strength in (HIS) Arms!

I had to travel suddenly to a village to pray for a demon possessed woman who was torturing her and almost throttling her to death. I had no time to book my tickets, I dashed to the railway station and found there were no tickets available, since I just had ten minutes to make a choice whether to travel or not, my husband bought a general compartment ticket and I travelled alone in the general compartment along with vendors and laborers for the first time in my life. Just because I chose to travel in the general compartment for a good cause, I was not exempted from sufferings and agony – to put in a nutshell I can say, it was a terrible journey. When I reached the village, I found the woman in a bad shape, I had to stay there alone with her for the next three days and pray for her deliverance. In the nights, along with another woman who was my prayer partner, I slept alone with the demon possessed woman. No commandos or black cats – JESUS WAS MY REFUGE! Amen. I can narrate many such incidents, where God has been my only protection!

Close to our Abide Public School, there are few dangerous street dogs that had bitten many people, we feared for the safety of our school children who walked to the school. Besides lodging the general procedures of complaints, we prayed for the safety of our kids, by His grace He has protected every little one of them thus far. He is our strong fortress! If we put Him before us, give Him top priority, and obey His commandments, look what He offers:

Leviticus 26:8”Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.”
