To explore the life of Jacob, highlighting his struggles and transformation, to illustrate how God can use our struggles to shape us and bless us greatly.

Introduction

Good morning, brothers and sisters! Today, I am excited to dive into the compelling story of Jacob – a man who wrestled with both God and man and came out stronger for it. I am reminded of the words of A.W. Tozer, a respected Christian author who once said, "It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until He has hurt him deeply." These words encapsulate Jacob's story in such an astonishing way; a life marked by struggle, but also overflowing with God's provision and favor.

Our Scripture passage for today is Genesis 25:28, which states, "Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob." Though just a snapshot of Jacob's complex journey, this verse sets the stage for a life full of spiritual wrestling and divine blessings.

So, let's bow our heads in prayer as we embark on this journey together.
