Psalm 70 "HELP"

I. Our Father Is All Powerful -

1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.

He Will Hasten - 1 Make haste, O God,

He Will Hearken - to deliver me; (Protect)

He Will Help - make haste to help me, O Lord.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress,

or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

II. Our Foes Are Only Pitiful -

2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt

Their Confusion - 2 Let them be ashamed and confounded

Their Contention - that seek after my soul: [L?seeking my life]

Their Correction - let them be turned backward, and put to confusion

Their Corruption - that desire my hurt

Their Compulsion - 3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha,

God is Our Defender - Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things?

If God be for us, who can be against us?

Our Deliverer - 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,

Our Director - how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

III. Our Friends Should be Always Praiseful -

4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Their Resolve - 4 Let all those that seek thee

Their Repose - rejoice and be glad in thee:

Their Relief - and let such as love thy salvation

Their Refrain - say continually, Let God be magnified.

IV. Our Faith Is Forever Profitable - Based On -

God's Provision - 5 But I am poor and needy:

God's Protection - make haste unto me, O God:

God's Position - thou art my help and my deliverer;

God's Perfection - O Lord, make no tarrying.

Genesis 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee:

Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
