Heaven’s Altar

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged. Isaiah 6:6-7

The revelation of crucified Christ is a burning knowledge that is extremely hot. It burns away sin, purifies the heart, deposits a rich understanding of Jesus, and completely sets a man’s heart on fire. In Isaiah 6, the seraphim brought a live coal from heaven's altar and gave it to Isaiah. Heaven’s altar was the place where Jesus was sacrificed before the foundation of earth. The altar has been burning since eternity past and will continue to burn till eternity future. The seraphim brought the burning coal from this altar where Jesus was sacrificed and gave it to Isaiah. Live coal signifies the burning knowledge of Crucified Christ, which contains rich treasures of God's nature, including His humility, mercy, and sacrifice.

This knowledge of crucified Saviour was imparted to Prophet Isaiah. Heaven's altar was so hot that even Seraphim used tongs to take the live coal. Gigantic creatures like Seraphim’s used tongs to take the live coal from Heaven’s altar – implying that Heaven's altar must be burning with temperatures more than millions of degrees for thousands of years. Heaven’s altar or the crucified knowledge of Jesus, is a burning knowledge that burns at extremely high temperatures. It is a pure, refined, rich knowledge of Jesus that is 100% pure without any impurities. It's like gold refined in fire for thousands of years; imagine how much pure it must be. Its refined purified heaven's treasure given to undeserving humanity. It’s purest of pure knowledge of God.

It’s rich to the soul but at the same time, it sets you on fire. It enriches the soul. It's difficult to contain and hold onto. It spreads like a wildfire. This burning knowledge of the crucified Christ was imparted to Isaiah. It was burning in his life, and it still continues to burn in the book of Isaiah following Chapter 6.
