2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT)

9 The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. What a fool you have been! From now on you will be at war.”

Pray:

Father-heart GOD, give me strength of heart for I am fully committed to You.

V. THESIS:

GOD's eyes are searching the whole earth to give strength of heart to those who are fully committed to Him.

VI. TITLE:

Heart Strength

VII. EXPLICATION:

A. Purpose: Sequel to 1 Chronicles and supplement to book of Kings.

B. Feature: Spiritual element in the history is more emphasized in Chronicles than in Kings.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. LORD's eyes searches the whole earth:

1. LORD's eyes ranges throughout the earth (Zechariah 4:10)

10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)

2. You reward everyone according to His conduct (Jeremiah 32:19)

B. He strengthens the hearts of people fully committed to Him.

1. The LORD is our Strength and Song (Exodus 15:2)

2. The LORD is Strength of His people (Psalms 28:8)

3. His Power is made perfect in our weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

4. GOD's arm will strengthen us. (Psalms 89:21)

GOD is not only our Strength but also our refuge (Psalms 46:1)
