Hearing From God

Summary: It is important to remember that all of these activities in this passage is a result of taking the gospel to the lost. (v.5) It is possible that Paul was discouraged or weary from the work and the Lord strengthened him as Paul spoke of in Ephesians 6:10
I. Paul was faithful (v.4)
A. Regardless of the amount of opposition.
B. Christ had to encourage him. (v.9-10)
II. He was passionate (v.6)
A. In that passion he had a sense of urgency
B. A sense of soberness
III. Paul was sacrificial (v. 12)
A. He had little concern for his own well being
B. He was unwavering in His service
