Summary: Our greatest joy in life is knowing Jesus Christ.

HEAR YE HEAR YE

Heb.12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

The greatest Joy ever known to man kind. A joy that keeps going through out our lives

And after we go home to be with him.

(1) THE CREATION.

Job.38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Col; 1: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

(2) LAYING OF THE TEMPLE FOUNDATION

Ezr:3: 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:

(3) SALVATION TO THE GENTILES.

Acts 15: 3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

(4) THE COMING OF CHRIST.

Matt.2: 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

(5) THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST.

Matt.28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

(6) THE ASCENSION OF CHRIST.

Luke 24: 50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

51And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

52And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

53And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Mark 16: 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

(7) THE RETURN OF CHRIST.

Matt. 16 :27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Rev. 22: 1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
