Healing and Deliverance service
James 5:13 ~ 16 “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make sth sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
In order to see folks healed, we’ve got to learn to get them to the Doctor. Doctor Jesus to be specific!
Today, as I have felt led of the Spirit to conduct a Healing and Deliverance service, I also feel it very important to advise you of the fact that we just won’t be getting out of here at noon. There are no set time limits on the Holy Spirit, and His moving, nor to the virtue of Jesus flowing in this house. That’s the way it is every Sunday, whether you realize it or not, its just that way.
So, if you are under a time constraint, and you feel you must leave promptly at noon, if you would, please do so with reverence to the Holy Spirit, and to others who are hungry for healing and deliverance in their lives and their families.
Folks, the crux of the day is this:
You can be healed of your infirmity if you want to be.
If you will but come to Jesus, and lay aside your feelings of doubt, distrust, (your feelings of your own adequacy in handling your life)!
If you would just trust and Believe Christ’s ability to heal and deliver and meet you at the point of your felt and your known need.
Remember, God heard you the first time you cried out to Him! (Daniel and Gabriel)
Know that God wants you whole. He wants a healthy vessel.
He wants a vessel that He can use for His service, so stop thinking that it’s just not His Will for your healing!
There needs to be an attitude of the lady with the issue of blood, mentioned in Mark 5:27 “If I may but touch the Hem of His garment, I will be made whole!”
It doesn’t take someone screaming exciting, pump-you-up phrases in order for you to get a breakthrough.
It doesn’t take the well-known evangelist, or faith healer to call you out, and lay hands on you, either.
It doesn’t even take the pastor calling you out to give you a ‘Word’
All these things are good and well, and they have their place, but what I feel that God is wanting is some people to stand up, and with their own mouths, confess that they can’t take where they are in their lives anymore, and cry out to God for their healing, in FAITH!
“IF I CAN BUT TOUCH HIM!” SAY THAT CHURCH! SHOUT IT!
It’s that kind of faith that presses through the crowd!
A faith that doesn’t worry about the talkers!
A faith that pushes past the pride!
A faith that Touches Jesus! FAITH MOVES GOD!
Get ready for your breakthrough! Virtue breaks down barriers!
We will be singing some choruses throughout the service, and will be following the Leading of the Holy Spirit.
As I feel led, I will give instruction.
Chorus’
Folks, Healing was provided for us by the stripes that were placed on Jesus’ back, all 39 of them. The price He paid going to Calvary was sufficient for our healing, both Spiritual and Physical. He didn’t allow man to shred His body for no reason. You and I were and are that reason.
Healing has already been provided for us. It’s done. It’s ours. It is up to us to lay hold of that hope, or attain that amount of faith in order to claim our healing.
Spiritual Healing comes from many references in the Bible, but I’ll only name a few today.
The first that comes to mind is: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him, would not perish, but have everlasting, or eternal life.”
Seem like a strange scripture for spiritual healing? Not to me. Spiritual healing is a healing that cleanses the inside so that Jesus would want to live there, and when He lives there, there is promise of life everlasting. Without Him there, there is everlasting torment.
Sounds to me like that would be perfect Spiritual Health.
The next scripture that comes to mind is Psalm 118:17 ~ “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord!”
