“HE” STILL SPEAKS

HEB 1 VS 1-4

1. HE SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS WORK:

Psalm 19:1 (NKJV)

1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

Psalm 50:6 (NKJV)

6 Let the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is Judge. Selah

Psalm 75:1 (NKJV)

1 To the Chief Musician. Set to 'Do Not Destroy.' A Psalm of Asaph. A song. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.

Romans 1:20 (NKJV)

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

**GOD’S WORK DOESN’T JUST SPEAK HIS EXISTANCE, IT SCREAMS OUT “I AM HERE.”:

**THE GENTLEMAN AT OGALBY PARK TOLD REGGIE THAT HE WAS A PROFOUND ATHIEST UNTIL HE STARTED TAKING CHILDREN ON FIELD TRIPS THROUGH THE PARK, AND GOD REVEALED HIMSELF TO HIM THROUGH “HIS CREATION” AND NOW HE IS A CHRISTIAN!

**GENE RIDING THROUGH THE RAINBOW- THAT IS GOD’S PROMISE THAT HE WILL NOT DESTROY THE EARTH BY WATER EVER AGAIN**

2. HE STILL SPEAKS THROUGH HIS WONDERS- GOD IS STILL IN THE MIRACLE BUSINESS, I HAVE HEARD IT SAID THAT “WE DON’T SEE GOD WORK MIRACLES LIKE HE DID IN BIBLE TIMES” BUT MAY I DIFFER WITH THOSE FOLKS- ** HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE SAVED IN THIS BUILDING THIS MORNING?** DID YOU KNOW THAT OF ALL THE MIRACLES THAT GOD HAS EVER PERFORMED, SALVATION IS HIS GREATEST WORK!!!- BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT GOD STILL WORKS MANY MIRACLES TODAY—

A. HE IS STILL HEALER- I AM STANDING TODAY AS ONE THAT GOD HAS HEALED FROM CANCER

B. RALPH WAS HEALED FROM A STROKE

C. WE HAVE AT LEAST 2 THAT GOD HAS HEALED FROM HAVING A HEART ATTACK

D. ** HE STILL OPENS THE EYES OF THE BLIND, HE HEALS THE DEAF, BINDS THE HEARTS OF THE BROKEN HEARTED.

E. GOD STILL SPEAKS WITH A ROAR IN THE STORMS, EARTHQUAKES AND OTHER ACTS OF NATURE.

3. HE STILL SPEAKS THROUGH HIS WORD—STORY OF ELIJAH:

1 Kings 19:11-14 (NKJV)

11 Then He said, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake;

12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

13 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

14 And he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life."
