“He Does All Things Well”
Mark 7:31-37
During Jesus’ three years of earthly ministry, again and again we see Him caring for the hopeless and the helpless. Here we find Jesus healing a man who could neither hear nor speak clearly. After watching Jesus restore this man, the people around Him made a statement about Jesus that is profound – “He has done all things well.” Jesus has done all things well:
I. In His Care for People.
A. Jesus was accessible.
B. Jesus was compassionate.
C. Jesus was powerful.
II. In His Proclamation of Truth.
A. Jesus told the truth – in the face of legalism.
B. Jesus upheld the truth – He was just and caring.
C. Jesus “is” the Way, the Truth, the Life.
III. In His Work of Salvation.
A. Jesus came to die for our sin.
B. Jesus’ entire life was a journey to the cross.
C. Jesus did what He came to do.
D. Jesus has completed the work of salvation!
