He carried you on eagle’s wings!

Exodus 19:4”I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.”

On April 10, 1912, the Titanic Ship left Southampton, England on her maiden voyage to New York City. This ship was considered to be the largest and unsinkable ship ever built that she carried only 20 lifeboats - enough to provide accommodation for only half her 2,200 passengers and crew. Alas! Midnight, the ship struck an iceberg and she broke! One thousand five hundred twenty-two passengers and crew were lost! Beware! We too are trusting frivolous things to save us today! What is the package offered is the question in the mind of young people today; and they keep jumping from job to job to mint that money. Housing loans, PF loans, and every other kind of loan are consumed and many are neck-deep in debts! Hello, are you there? Don’t justify your loans, don’t keep heaping up loans; this prevents you from sowing into the work of the Lord. This is the beginning of the month, have you given your tithes to the work of God? Think!

Let me tell you of the safety and protection that you get from another source, the Lord says, ‘I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” His wings are not like the Titanic ship that would break and shatter; they would carry and keep you safe forever. Why does God talk a lot about eagles while talking of strength? The eagles’ feathers are lightweight, hollow and flexible, yet very strong, they protect the bird from weather, including excessive heat, cold winds and snow. The eagle also has a sharp eye and with four to eight times the resolving power of a person’s eye. It can spot it’s prey nearly a mile away, from an altitude of 1,000 feet. Likewise, our Lord would in advance target your enemy, pick you up and hide you under the shelter of His Wings. Amen.

You may wonder, ‘hey, why was I transferred, why did I not get that job, why did that alliance break, why am I not getting the visa…and much more! Hear me today! May be there is some evil out there! He has kept you safe under His feathers! Relax! Joseph thought that he was languishing in the prison for 13 long years in Egypt but later he realized that it was a safe shelter and refuge from the dangers that hovered in Egypt. Hallelujah!

Psalm 91:1, 4 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty… He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.” Some of you may be going through the wilderness of sickness, discouragement, death of a loved one, financial stress and much more. I have come to tell you today that He would bore you on His wings and carry you to a safe place very soon. Cheer up!

When I was five months pregnant, I was diagnosed with huge and multiple fibroids in my uterus and instructed to immediately remove the uterus along with the baby. This situation would ruin everything around me – that includes my job as well. I chose to keep my baby and trust God. I was strictly ordered not to climb steps, we were on the second floor, what do I do? I again trusted Him to carry me through this, I prayed and climbed each step.
