VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. He who has the GOD of Jacob for his help (Filipino: Ang tumutulong ay ang DIYOS.)

"Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is he who has the God of [special revelation to] Jacob for his help,"

Happy or "esher" in Hebrew meaning: happiness, blessed, happy.

Psalms 33:12 (Amplified Bible)

33:12 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.

Psalms 84:12 (Amplified Bible)

84:12 O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

Psalms 144:15 (Amplified Bible)

144:15 Happy and blessed are the people who are in such a case; yes, happy (blessed, fortunate, prosperous, to be envied) are the people whose God is the Lord!

Deuteronomy 33:29 (Amplified Bible)

33:29 Happy are you, O Israel, and blessing is yours! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the Shield of your help, the Sword that exalts you! Your enemies shall come fawning and cringing, and submit feigned obedience to you, and you shall march on their high places.

We need to change our minds, happiness is very far from what the world defined it. In the world, happiness is having a lot of money, success, fame and honor. Let's see who already committed suicide for it..

Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Whitney Thyson, to name a few.. Are they really happy? I thought so too. I thought before if I have lots of money, I will be happy, if I'm famous, I'll be happy, but now I know better. Real happiness is if you have GOD in this world, and GOD is your only Hope.

B. He whose hope is in the LORD his GOD (Filipino: Ang pag-asa ay ang DIYOS)

"whose hope is in the Lord his God,"

Psalms 39:7 (Amplified Bible)

39:7 And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are in You.

Psalms 71:5 (Amplified Bible)

71:5 For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (Amplified Bible)

17:7 [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.

17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.

1 Peter 1:21 (Amplified Bible)

1:21 Through Him you believe in (adhere to, rely on) God, Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him honor and glory, so that your faith and hope are [centered and rest] in God.

There are people whose hope is in their work, their money, their careers, and even their family, but what if they lost their job? they lost their money? they were fired? and their family died? How can he be happy now? Put your hope in GOD for GOD will never fail you nor forsake you and be happy for eternity.

Hebrews 13:5 (Amplified Bible)

13:5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

Joshua 1:5 (Amplified Bible)

1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
