I. Introduction

II. Jesus Came to Him (4)

a. John 1:14 – The Word became Flesh and Dwelt among us.

b. Zacchaeus was looking for Jesus, But Jesus came to Him.

c. Jesus also came to us.

III. Jesus Called to Him (5-7)

a. Jesus Calls him by name

i. Isaiah 43:1 – But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

b. Jesus Calls to spend time with him

c. The People called him sinner

i. Jesus doesn’t care what others say about us.

d. Jesus has called us to follow him.

IV. Jesus Convicted Him (8)

a. Conviction caused change.

b. When people meet Jesus they will be changed.

c. Sometimes we preach against sins, if we preach Jesus he will convict us.

V. Jesus Created Him (9)

a. Jesus turned Zaccheaus into a person

b. Son of Abraham – restored his heritage

c. 2 Corinthians 5:17

VI. Conclusion

a. Aren’t you glad Jesus hangs out with Sinners

b. If he didn’t, we would have never been saved.
