Guarantees In Prayer

Summary: sevens steps in answered prayer
Intro: in advertising we see many things that are guaranteed to work. Some will even add, if you aren’t completely satisfied we will refund your money back. I wonder, if it is guaranteed, why would there be the need for a money back policy? In the Word of God we find that God is willing to give us guarantees in prayer. If we will do our part, He will do His part. Here are 7 guarantees in prayer:
The Power of Agreement---Matthew 18:19-if you can get someone to agree with you in faith for the answer, if you can get others to believe with you, God honors the power of agreement. One can put a thousand to flight, but two can put 10,000 to flight.
Believe that You Will Receive--Mark 11:24- you must operate in faith to see the results. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If you don’t believe your prayer is going to be answered it won’t, so we must pray a believing prayer.
Give The Glory To God For Answered Prayer--John 14:13-14 For us to receive blessings from the Lord, we must be willing to give Him the praise for the great things He has done. If we aren’t thankful, if we don’t offer praise for the answer, we will not receive what God has promised us.
Personal Relationship Required--John 15:7-if ye abide in Me and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done. Another vital key in receiving in prayer is a personal relationship. You cannot serve Jesus from afar and expect to get the same results as some who draws near. Abiding in the Vine is the key for healthy branches.
Diligence--Hebrews 11:6--rewards them who diligently seek after Him. Years ago some would say never to pray a second time. But God rewards persistent prayer.
Passionate Prayer--James 5:16--the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. I have said this many times, if our prayer doesn’t mean anything to us, it won’t mean anything to God. Formal, ritual prayer is not guaranteed prayer. Prayer of passion will be effective. One not from the head, but from the heart.
Spirit of Humility-Psalms 34:18-the Lord is near them that are of a broken heart and saves those of a contrite spirit. The final guarantee in prayer is the attitude in which one prays. If you pray from an attitude of humility before God, if you pray in brokenness before the throne, God hears, and God answers.
close: tonight, as we pray, we will see results in our prayers as we follow the Word of God. If my people who are called by My Name shall humble themselves and pray
God’s healing will never take place without prayer, God’s best things are reserved for those who will pray. Prayer Works.
