Goodnight Or Goodbye Series

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Matt 25:46

I called my wife and my two daughters.

I asked my wife, a question: "do you love me"? She replied, "but you know that I love you." I smiled. I asked my two daughters Independently; & each responded affirmatively that they love me.

I told the three of them to put the same question to me, but each should individualise it. Then, I responded, "I love you."

This was the most toughest conversation I will be having with my family. I looked at them eyeball to eyeball. I reminded them of the importance of reinforcing salvation and having the assurance of salvation.

That is the only ticket to reunite in eternity and be together forever. My salvation can't save you, neither can yours save me."

Without salvation, our family members would be severed from us no matter how united the family is.

No matter the amount of love claimed to exist among family members; between husband and wife, if the love of the Redeemer and the Saviour has not been embraced by both or either party, there will be irreconcilable separation, forever.

We may will our properties to our partners, we may register our businesses in our spouses' or children's names, we may give our children the best education, best investment, best discipline, best care and support, if they fail to include salvation of their souls, they will be lost forever and endlessly without hope.

We may celebrate our spouses' birthdays and memorable anniversaries, but if we cannot be sure of their salvation, the union will suffer an eternal partway.

The rapture of the church will separate sinning partners from each other, sinning children from their saved parents.

Rapture will separate friends and siblings, employees and lovers.

Eternal matter is a serious matter, if you love your wife or husband or children or siblings or parents or inlaws so dearly; one, you must be very sure of your own salvation; secondly, you must do everything possible to lead them to salvation by preaching, praying for them and persuading them lovingly and, patiently win them.

Eternal matter is a serious matter, there will be no corrections, there will be no second chance. Once any members of the family cross over without salvation, it is an endless doom, you won't want for your worst enemy.

The best tributes written by the best people won't change eternal verdict, without salvation.

Whether written or spoken, GOODNIGHT is the final parting word for saints going home (Heaven); because they would meet again; GOODBYE is the word expressed when the person dies without salvation. There will be no union, paths won't cross forever and ever.

Saved husbands and wives will meet again in God's kingdom and promised paradise, though, not as spouse.

Sinning husbands, and saved wives won't meet again.

Whatever it takes/costs to ensure you, your spouse, family members and everyone get saved, please do.
