This sermon emphasizes the importance of acknowledging our sins, repenting, and seeking God's grace and guidance for transformation and deliverance.
Welcome, beloved. We gather today, not as strangers or distant observers, but as a family, a community of believers bound by the unshakeable love of our Heavenly Father. We are united in our faith, our hope, and our desire to grow closer to the God who loves us, who guides us, and who, even in our most wayward moments, never abandons us.
Today, we turn our hearts and minds to the book of Exodus, specifically chapter 32, verse 31. This passage is a poignant reminder of the humanity of Moses, and indeed, our own humanity. It is a testament to the power of repentance, the grace of God, and the transformative journey from departure to deliverance.
Exodus 32:31 reads, "So Moses returned to the Lord and said, 'Alas, this people has sinned a great sin. They have made for themselves gods of gold.'"
