Summary: The Good Samaritan gave two denarii and promised to give even more to the innkeeper to care for the wounded man.

The Good Samaritan gave two denarii and promised to give even more to the innkeeper to care for the wounded man. There are so many wounded people in this land right now. Physically, they look to be in good health, but spiritually, they are half dead. They have been robbed of their blessings, their health, and have been wounded by the devil, and they lay half dead. For years, they had remained at the same spiritual place of attack or robbery with their wounds and scars. The devil has even plundered and struck the people so severely that they have lost all hope and have been living with scars and wounds for years. No one might be aware of their spiritual state of attack and robbery.

Those whose spiritual eyes had opened like prophets; priests who were aware of their spiritual state yet passed them by without caring for them. But Jesus comes to the spot where we are spiritually half dead like a Good Samaritan, bandages our wounds, pours His oil and wine on us, and places us on His animal. He takes us to His trustworthy inn on His animal and spends the night with us in the inn. Jesus bandages all of our open wounds, scars and pours His oil of Holy Spirit on the wounds to regenerate or renew the flesh, renew God’s promises, blessings and favor, and make us forget the damage or trauma. Jesus bandages all the wounds, applies the oil of Holy Spirit to start the restoration process, and then hands over the wounded people over to trustworthy innkeepers until the restoration process is complete.

Jesus is searching for trustworthy innkeepers who are willing to take care of this wounded people. If we are willing to care for wounded people, Jesus is willing to pay 2 denarii and even more when he returns. If he gives 2 denarii to one wounded person, he would give at least 2000 denarii to 1000 wounded persons. Jesus the Good Samaritan is willing to pay a large amount even more than 2 denarii for you to care of the wounded people. The two denarii is God’s currency which can provide money, provisions, and equipment needed to care of the wounded person. Jesus wants you to take care of wounded people.

Expand your inn or heart to take care of more wounded people. If you become an inn to take care of the wounded people, God provides you two denarii in advance, and if you need more, He will come to repay you when He returns. God never owes anything to anyone. In this case, however, when you spend extra money from your pocket (than the two denarii) to take care of wounded people, God owes you the extra money. If His return is delayed, the extra money with interest will be accumulated as a lot of money. Start expanding your hearts to care for many wounded people. God is paying two denarii for the service of each wounded people. More importantly God is trusting you for this great work. You can get close to eternal life by becoming an innkeeper.
