Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
Even in times of doubt, God's grace brings us peace and proves His faithfulness.
Today, we're gonna talk about how God's grace can bring us peace, even when we're full of doubts. Ever had a moment when God's grace gave you peace?
Object Lesson: Bring out a stress ball. Squeeze it and talk about how life can squeeze us, causing stress and doubt. But just like the stress ball bounces back, God's grace can help us bounce back and find peace.
God's grace brings us peace and protects our hearts and minds as we trust in Jesus.
[Read Genesis 18:9-14] Sarah, Abraham's wife, didn't believe God's promise of a son because they were super old. But God's grace can do crazy things, even when it seems impossible.
In our lives, doubt can sneak in and make us question if God can really help us. But we shouldn't be shocked when God's grace shows up.
We can learn from Abraham and Sarah's story. They built altars to remember when God showed up. What can we do in our lives to remember God's got our back?
When we remember what God has done before, it gives us hope for now. We can trust that His grace will keep us steady when we're full of doubt and everything's a mess.
We should always give God props for His grace. Sarah knew it was God who made their son happen. When we see God's grace, we should give Him props too.
If you haven't felt God's grace personally, I invite you to open your heart to Jesus. His grace brings peace and saves us. You don't have to try harder or figure everything out. It's a gift from God.
Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time or just starting, take time to think about the grace in your life. God's grace is with you, for you, and keeps you going. It brings peace even when you're full of doubt.
This week, try to find a moment each day to remember a time when you saw God's grace in your life. Write it down, draw a picture, or just think about it. Let it remind you that God's got your back.
Let's pray together.
God, help us swap our doubts and fears for your peace. Remind us of the times when your grace was super clear in our lives. Amen.
