Gods Day We Should Have Respect For It

GODS DAY WE SHOULD HAVE RESPECT FOR IT
Exodus 20: 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
God gives us six days every week. He only ask one that’s only 52 days a year.
We have 313 days to do what we need to do.
(1) Sabbath vv 8-9
Rest
Gen. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Respect God took the day off to rest and refresh we should do the same.
Righteous v.11 God hallowed that day

Acts 20: 7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Desire To fellowship we find it only in the Church
Hebrews 10: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Delight Christians are glad to attend.
Psalms 122: 1 (A Song of degrees of David.) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

5 times Jesus appeared on the Sabbath
The Holy Spirit descended on the Sabbath
They celebrated the Lords Supper on the Sabbath
Offerings came to the store house on the Sabbath
Sunday is Gods day lets keep it Holy
