Psalm 128 Godly Contentment
1. The Believer's Walk
1 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
The Condition - 1 Blessed,
The Connection - is every one
The Conviction - that feareth the Lord;
The Communion - that walketh in his ways. (Keeps on walking)
2. The Believer's Work
2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands,
happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
It's A Profitable Work - 2 For thou shalt eat
It's A Practical Work - the labour of thine hands:
It's A Positive Work - happy shalt thou be,
It's A Productive Work - and it shall be well with thee.
3. The Believer's Wealth
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house:
thy children like olive plants round about thy table
The Comradery - 3 Thy wife, The Capacity - shall be as a fruitful vine
The Constancy - by the sides of thine house:
The Consistency - thy children like olive plants
The Conformity - round about thy table.
4. The Believer's Welfare
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
It's Source - 4 Behold,
It's Satisfaction - that thus
It's Surety - shall the man be blessed,
It's Secret - that feareth the Lord
5. The Believer's Witness
5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion:
and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
It's Root - 5 The Lord,
It's Reality - shall bless thee
It's Resource - out of Zion:
It's Result - and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem
It's Reward - all the days of thy life.
6. The Believer's Worship
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
It's Positive - 6 Yea,
It's Personal - thou
It's Promised - shalt see
It's Prolonged - thy children’s children
It's Promoted - and peace upon Israel.
