TOPIC: GOODNESS AND GODLINESS

TEXT: Zecharia 9:17, Romans 15: 14

INTRODUCTION: Goodness and Godliness is an attribute of God Almighty. God always delight in doing good to the creation. He prove that by giving Christ the saviour. John 10: 10. The devil is the one known for doing bad while Jesus manifested to turn that around by doing Good. It is therefore compulsory as Gods elect to also manifest ourself with the act of Goodness. Good ness ia the act of being morally good. You cant be good and not be Godly. Godliness is working in line with God’s standard of operations.

FACTS TO KNOW

You must be Born Again. This is the foundation of goodness and Godliness because Adamic nature will be destroy once you confess Christ as your lord and Saviour. You now exhibit divine nature in you. Romans 6 : 19, 2Pet 1:4

2. As a Godly people of God, You are a Christ Ambassador. So pursue after Godliness. 1Tim 6:11

3. Shun All evil malpractices

4. Do not close yours to the poor and needy around you. Prov 28:27

5. Christ has come to spread good news , as a believer who want to do good, spread the good news

to other too Mark 16:15

CONCLUSION: The bible instructed us not to be weary in good always for in due season God will reward us. Don’t be tired in doing good to the household of faith. Your reward is on the way.
