God Work's Through The Church

"By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,

O God of our salvation,

You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,

And of the far-off seas;

6 Who established the mountains by His strength,

Being clothed with power;

7 You who still the noise of the seas,

The noise of their waves,

hAnd the tumult of the peoples.

8 They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;

You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice."

From our own living room we can see wars taking place on the other side of the world as it’s happening...

The internet gives us access to information all over the world.

You can communicate with people thousands of miles away through many different means. E-mail, telephone, satellite, and many other means.

But God will use and is using all of the resources available to bring light into the darkest of places.

A satellite thousands of miles in space can send an image to the other side of the earth where people there can hear and even see someone preaching the Gospel.

In the United States there is a Church on every other corner. And the Church is getting to the most remote parts of the earth. People are running out of excuses because every where that you turn someone is handing out tracts on the plan of salvation.

As the psalmist said; “In the farthest corners of the earth the glorious acts of God are seen”. (Psalm 65:8)

#1) Most of what God is doing, He is doing through the Church.

· What the enemy wanted for evil, God is turning it around and using it for good.

· You can share the Gospel with a Satanist on the other side of the world from the comfort of your living room or evangelize your city through the radio waves. (GOD HAS MADE IT VERY SIMPLE FOR THE END DAYS!!!)

· God is using all of these things to fulfill His purpose.

Jesus said; “And the Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”. (Matt. 24:14)

#2) Jesus said; “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.

The Church with all of its weaknesses and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is still the most powerful force on earth.

God reveals Himself through the Church.

The Church is the school of Christ in the earth and the teacher is the Holy Spirit

that works through the Church and every born again believer.

The Church teaches the word of God and how to live a Godly life.

The Church is God’s embassy where a person can find refuge, healing and salvation through Jesus Christ.

This is why Christians should never tear down the Church but build it up in good fellowship.

#3) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

If the Church is going to be successful it must depend on the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit empowers the Church to reach the world for Christ.

Paul said; “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of

Man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power”. (I Cor.2:4)

It is power of the Holy Spirit working through us will accomplish God’s purpose with decisions for Christ, miracles, signs and wonders

#4) God brings victory out of defeat through our faith in Christ. (I John 5:4)
