Way of escape!

1 Corinthians 10:13” God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

God will provide a way for us to escape! This promise is so comforting and soothing in the present situation of pandemic crisis that we are in! When we go out and see the way people desperately applying sanitizers and the invisible ‘virus’ hovering around, it is pretty eerie; however, what gives us confidence and encouragement is the Word of God, say Amen. We got to follow all the rules to protect us; nevertheless, the real safety comes from the blood of Jesus! I would like to give few examples from the Bible and explain the above scripture so that you get charged and energized today, I only pray that Holy Spirit helps me to put all that is burning in me…

A) Jesus passed through: Luke 4: 30- “passing through their midst, He went His way.” Wherever you may be enmeshed in, God is able to bail you out, He will give you a way of escape, get encouraged today. Share it with people who feel there is no way out! Let me explain what happened in Luke 4, Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, while preaching some of His words infuriated the Jews, they were angry that he should compare himself, whom they knew to be the son of Joseph, with those great prophets. So they were filled with rage that they handle Him barbarically, “they got up and drove Him out of the city, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city had been built, in order to throw Him down the cliff.” Just for a second imagine this situation, a mob of angry people from the Synagogue drove Him out of the city like a thief, and took Jesus to the cliff of a hill, in order to throw him down the cliff. Most brutal plans, the humiliation, chaos, noise and violence is unimaginable but look what happened! Passing through their midst, He went His way! (verse 30) He smoothly passes through that humongous crowd like from a birthday part, and went His way. How could one pass through an angry crowd on the top of a hill! There were other times when the crowd planned to stone Him, ( John 10- 36-39) , in all these cases, He just passed that crisis like a wind and vanished, yes, He walked in the Spirit realm and managed the situation. He did not argue, did not get intimidated (was cool as a cucumber) just passed that hurdle effortlessly; Jesus walked in the Spirit and knew His time has not yet come, so He found a way of escape!

The world will say, ‘just leave that place when the problem starts’, but the Holy Spirit tells us when the heat becomes hotter in your life ‘ leave your flesh’ and walk in the Spirit like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. The Holy Spirit wind mentioned in John 3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit" will help you overcome your fear and problems. Say Amen! The ways of God are foolish to a carnally minded person!

God is faithful….He will provide the way of escape !

People would come to me for counseling regarding violent husbands who behave irrationally under the influence of alcohol, but I would first advice the wives to pray hard, fast and walk in the Spirit to begin with and not run for divorce, in most cases they end up in such problems only because of their initial disobedience in marrying the wrong people, so stay and handle the situation don’t duck the responsibility. There are 1000 false prophets who will not point out the mistakes to you or give strategy to handle in the Holy Spirit but would say’ witch craft’ is done and squarely throw the responsibility on the demons. The Bible says: Romans 8:13 “if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Hezekiah:2 King 18: 13”Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them.”

So, we see the great works of King Hezekiah in Judah and the revival that he brought about in the nation, though his father Ahaz was a worst king but Hezekiah was the best. He followed the ways of David and not his father; yet, we see that his kingdom was attacked by Sennacherib, well good people are not exempted from sufferings they got to learn to go through them and come out unscathed. Amen. ( you can tweet this)
