GOD’S TEAR BOTTLE

God is bottling up our tears! --- Tears move, The Heart of God --- Mt. 5:4 - Blessed are they that mourn …

At a Bill Gothard Seminar in Atlanta Ga. Bro,. Bill taught us that tears with Lucern in them were true tears. Not fake Soap Opera or Hollywood tears, or like cutting an onion tears. But real tears from a broken and sincere heart with Lucern in them.

NOTE SOME TEARS FOUND IN THE BIBLE:

1. THE TEARS OF JESUS

Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Lk. 19:41) --- It was not all the torture that he had been through that broke his heart. It was rejection that broke the heart of Jesus! It should move us to tears when people can reject our wonderful Savior. When is the last time you wept over your lost loved one? (Story of Hyman Appleman talking to lady about her lost children…) Psa. 126:5 ,6 - He that sow in tears shall reap in joy, He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. You say you pray for your loved one to get saved, suppose God would ask the angel to bring your tear bottle…

2. THE TEARS OF FORGIVENESS

Genesis 45:15 - Joseph forgave and wept over his brothers! -- He told them in 45:8 - It was not you that sent me here, but God! -- When is the last time you wept over the forgiveness of sin? Or wept in victory of not holding ill feelings toward a brother or sister?

3. THE TEARS OF GRATITUDE

Luke 7:38 - A Poor Thankful Woman Wept at the feet of Jesus and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with her hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

When is the last time you sat at the feet of Jesus and Praise Him for Saving Your Soul… and for being so good to you?

4. THE TEARS OF A BACKSLIDER

Psa. 137: 1,2 - There we sat down, Yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps on the willow… They had lost their Song… Their Joy, Peace and Happiness! (Jonah, David, Peter)

5. THE TEARS THAT CAME TOO LATE

Heb. 12: 16,17 - Esau… Found no repentance though he sought it with tears!

6. THE TEARS IN HELL

Luke 16: 23,24 - The Rich Man died and lifted his eyes in Hell… And Cried….. Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
