THE MESSAGE
GOD’S PLAN FOR THE CHURCH
1.REFLECTION - REPENTANCE - RECONSIDERATION
Haggai 1: 5 - 7 ; Psalms 139 : 23 - 24
The Lord wants us to pause and look back on the past years and to consider our ways and search our hearts and to repent where we have to repent. This is an opportunity to make a fresh start.
2.REFRESHING - RENEWAL - REVIVAL
Acts 3 : 19 ; Joel 2: 23 ; II Kings 2: 9
The Lord wants us to receive a fresh anointing. We should not labour with our old strength and power as we will soon lose our energy and enthusiasm. The Lord wants us to experience a refreshing and receive a double portion of the anointing to enable us to meet the challenges of the new year.
3.RESTORATION - RECAPTURE - RESURRECTION
Joel 2 : 25 ; John 10 : 10 ; Ezekial 37 : 1 - 10
The Lord wants to restore to us all that the enemy has stolen
from us in the past years. He wants us to recapture what Satan
has taken away. He wants to resurrect the dry bones and make
them into an exceeding great army to fight his battles.
4. RELEASE - RISING - RADIANCE
Isaiah 49 : 2 ; I Peter 5 : 6 ; Isaiah 60 : 1 ; Haggai 2 : 9
The Lord wants to release in this year all those whom He has
prepared. He wants to lift those who had been faithfully
submitted under his mighty hand. He wants His glory to rise
upon them. His glory will be greater in the latter house.
5. RESISTANCE - RIGOUR - REPULSING
James 4 : 7 ; Romans 12 : 11 ; Matthew 16 : 18
The Lord wants us to resist the devil and take victory over
him. The church should rise up as a militant army and plunder
the territory of the enemy. We must expect a fierce battle
with satan in these last days. The church can no longer be
passive and inactive.Every member of the body of Christ should
actively involved in serving God.
6. REVOLUTION - REARRANGEMENT - RADICAL CHANGES
Matthew 11:12 ; Hebrews 12 : 26 -27 ; Acts 10 : 13 -15
The time has come for a revolution in the Kingdom of God. The
Lord has promised to shake every foundation so that all false
foundations will collapse and only the true foundations will
remain. He wants the church to shed many traditional practices
which hinder the rapid expansion of God’s kingdom. He made
the early church to use ways which they had formerly considered
as defiling to help spread the gospel to the gentiles. He told
Apostle Peter in a vision not to consider things defiled which
the Lord has sanctified. The Lord wants to do a similar thing
in the church today to reach the whole world with the gospel.
7. REAPING - REACHING OUT - REJOICING
John 4 ; 37 -38 ; Acts 1: 8 ; Acts 8 : 5 - 8
The Lord wants these last days to be days of harvest for the church.
For 2000 years so many servants of God have laboured and have
gone to their eternal reward. But the Lord has given the church
today the privilege of reaping the harvest of all this labour.
Every member of the church should reach out to the unsaved
instead of spending all their time and energy only with their
fellow believers.Just as Philip brought great joy to the city of
Samaria by preaching Christ to them and demonstrating the power of
God to set the people free from their bondages, the
Lord wants us to bring joy to the people of this world through
such a ministry of deliverance
