Hebrews 3:5 (Amplified Bible)

3:5 And Moses certainly was faithful in the administration of all God’s house [but it was only] as a ministering servant. [In his entire ministry he was but] a testimony to the things which were to be spoken [the revelations to be given afterward in Christ].

A. Moses faithful as a servant in GOD's House

"And Moses certainly was faithful in the administration of all God’s house [but it was only] as a ministering servant."

Matthew 24:45 (Amplified Bible)

24:45 Who then is the faithful, thoughtful, and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household to give to the others the food and supplies at the proper time?

Luke 12:42 (Amplified Bible)

12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful steward, the wise man whom his master will set over those in his household service to supply them their allowance of food at the appointed time?

Exodus 14:31 (Amplified Bible)

14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did against the Egyptians, and the people [reverently] feared the Lord and trusted in (relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord and to His servant Moses.

Moses being compared to CHRIST, however, faithful he was in GOD's House in fulfilling His ministry, Moses did it as a servant, but CHRIST did it as a Son. The Son's faithfulness is far more superior to the faithfulness of a servant. Even more, CHRIST is both Faithful as a Son but ministered as a Servant.

John 13:14 (Amplified Bible)

13:14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher (Master), have washed your feet, you ought [it is your duty, you are under obligation, you owe it] to wash one another’s feet.

Matthew 10:24-25 (Amplified Bible)

We are amazed at Moses' Ministry before GOD's House, but we are to be amazed more at CHRIST's Ministry to us, because all that Moses's have done and fulfilled are ALL pointing to CHRIST, because He's a type of CHRIST to come, the One Moses pointing to is far more superior and infinitely better than Moses' Ministry in the Old Covenant.

IX. CONCLUSION:

CHRIST's Ministry is far more superior to Moses Ministry, because CHRIST is Faithful as a Son to us, we're GOD's House.

3:6 Christ as Son is in charge of the house. Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we're the house!
