Introduction

Welcome, beloved, to this day of worship and fellowship. A day where we gather together, not just as individuals, but as a community bound by a shared faith and love for our Lord and Savior. We are here today to open our hearts, to open our minds, and to open the Word of God in the book of Acts.

As we gather today, I am reminded of the words of the great Charles Spurgeon, who once said, "A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t." This quote, my friends, is a testament to the power of the Word of God, a power that is available to each of us, a power that is transformative, comforting, and inspiring.

He did not just pray for deliverance. He prayed for guidance, for wisdom, for strength. He did not just wait for the storm to pass. He actively sought the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he actively listened to the voice of the Spirit, he actively followed the leading of the Spirit.

Heeding God's Grace

As we continue to reflect on the passage from Acts 27, we find ourselves drawn to the grace of God that was so evident in Paul's experience ... View this full PRO sermon free with PRO
