God's Advice To Father's And Mother's

Summary: The problem with our children today is not the fault of the school, church or even the kid’s. Fault primarily lies with us parents. How are we to reverse this trend? With God’s Holy Word!

Probing Question: How are we to raise our children?
U.W. Steps
Transitional Sentence: Let’s look at the 3 major steps in raising our children.
I. First step; Control. (Proverbs 23: 13-14).
A. Kids will be kids, (Proverbs 22:15).
B. God expects parents to correct their children.
1. Kids are not born to Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.
2. You are responsible for your child.
II. Second step; Conduct. (Proverbs 22:6)
A. The best training is by doing. (President Clinton as an example)
1) Your children watch you.
2) What do your children see?
III. Third step; Commitment. (1 Cor. 13:13)
A. Listen to your children
B. Hug your children
C. Love your children
