INTRODUCTION:
The phrase “God of visitation” refers to the deliberate, divine interruption of human affairs by the Almighty. When God visits, things change. Barrenness becomes fruitfulness, captivity gives way to freedom, shame turns to glory, and delay is turned into divine acceleration. A visitation from God is not casual; it is powerful, transformative, and purposeful.
Throughout the Bible, divine visitations marked significant turning points in the lives of individuals and nations. Whether it was Sarah in her old age, Ruth in the land of Moab, or the nation of Israel in Egypt—every visitation came with divine results. When God visits, His presence breaks limitations and announces a new season.
In our generation, we still serve a God who visits His people. He is not distant or detached. His eyes are upon us, and His timing is perfect. As we explore the nature and impact of divine visitation, may our hearts be stirred to desire and prepare for our own encounter with the God of visitation.
