INTRODUCTION:

God is not a God of stagnation—He is a God of increase. From the beginning of creation, when He blessed mankind and said, “Be fruitful and multiply,” God revealed His desire for continual growth and multiplication in the lives of His people. Whether it is in the area of spiritual maturity, material blessings, ministry impact, or family life, divine increase is part of God’s covenant.

Increase is not just about numbers or possessions—it includes favour, wisdom, capacity, influence, and fruitfulness in every good work. However, true increase comes from God. We may plant and water, but only God gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-7).

This message will open our eyes to God's desire to increase His people, how to position ourselves for increase, and how to walk in the overflow of His blessings.

1. GOD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL INCREASE

No matter how hard we work, lasting increase only comes from God.

a) God Causes Growth (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

Paul planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

b) God’s Blessing Initiates Increase (Genesis 1:28)

The first blessing to man was the command to be fruitful and multiply.

c) Promotion and Multiplication Come from Above (Psalm 75:6-7)

It is God who lifts one up and puts another down.

d) God Increases What We Dedicate to Him (John 6:11-13)

Five loaves and two fishes increased when surrendered to Jesus.

Biblical Example: Isaac sowed in a time of famine and reaped a hundredfold because God blessed him (Genesis 26:12-14).

2. GOD DESIRES TO INCREASE HIS PEOPLE CONTINUALLY

Increase is not a one-time event but a divine progression.

a) God’s Increase Has No Limit (Isaiah 9:7)

Of the increase of His government and peace, there shall be no end.

b) God Will Multiply Us More and More (Psalm 115:14)

Both we and our children are included in His multiplication promise.

c) God Delights in the Prosperity of His Servants (Psalm 35:27)

He takes pleasure in your progress.

d) Enlargement Is a Covenant Blessing (Deuteronomy 1:11)

The Lord shall make you a thousand times more.

Biblical Example: The early Church increased rapidly in number, influence, and power because God was with them (Acts 6:7).

3. DIVINE INCREASE REQUIRES OBEDIENCE AND STEWARDSHIP

God blesses those who are faithful and obedient.

a) Faithfulness in Small Things Leads to More (Luke 16:10)

You must manage the little before God entrusts you with more.

b) Obedience to God's Word Opens the Door to Increase (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)

God blesses those who diligently obey His commandments.

c) Tithing and Giving Invite Financial Increase (Malachi 3:10)

Bring the tithe and see if I will not open the windows of heaven.

d) Diligence Attracts Prosperity (Proverbs 10:4)

The hand of the diligent makes rich.

Biblical Example: The widow of Zarephath obeyed the prophet’s instruction and experienced supernatural increase (1 Kings 17:13-16).

4. INCREASE IS FOR KINGDOM PURPOSES

God blesses us to be a blessing to others and to advance His kingdom.

a) God Gives Wealth to Establish His Covenant (Deuteronomy 8:18)

We are stewards, not owners.

b) Increased Influence Enables Greater Evangelism (Acts 4:33)

With great power and grace, the apostles testified, and the church multiplied.

c) Kingdom Expansion Is God’s Agenda (Matthew 6:33)

Seek first His kingdom, and all other things will be added.

d) God Expects Us to Multiply What He Gives (Matthew 25:14-30)

The unfruitful servant lost even what he had.

Biblical Example: Joseph rose in Egypt not just for personal elevation, but to preserve nations during famine (Genesis 45:5-7).

CONCLUSION:

The God of increase wants to do more in, for, and through you. He desires to expand your territory, multiply your efforts, and bring fruitfulness into every area of your life. But you must acknowledge Him as the source, obey His principles, and use your increase to glorify Him and bless others.

This is your season of increase. As you walk with God in faith, diligence, and obedience, may you experience supernatural multiplication and divine enlargement in every area of your life.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, I thank You for being the God of increase—cause me to grow in every area.

2. Lord, let Your blessing rest upon the work of my hands and multiply it.

3. I reject every spirit of stagnation and limitation in my life.

4. Father, help me to be faithful in little so I may be entrusted with more.

5. Use my increase for Your glory and to bless my generation.
