INTRODUCTION:
We live in a world filled with limitations—limitations of time, knowledge, strength, and resources. But we serve a God who is not limited by human impossibilities. He is the God of all possibilities. He operates beyond natural laws and defies human logic to fulfil His will.
From Genesis to Revelation, God continually reveals His ability to do what man cannot. He brings life out of death, opens doors no man can shut, and makes a way where there seems to be no way. God specialises in doing the impossible so that His glory may be revealed and His name exalted.
This sermon explores the reality of God's unlimited power and how we can position ourselves to experience the God of all possibilities in our lives, families, and destinies.
1. NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD
What we call impossible is easy for God.
a) God’s Power Is Absolute (Jeremiah 32:27)
“Behold, I am the LORD... Is there anything too hard for Me?”
b) He Created the Universe Out of Nothing (Genesis 1:1-3)
Creation itself is a testament to His limitless power.
c) He Specialises in Humanly Hopeless Situations (Romans 4:19-21)
Abraham believed God, even when Sarah’s womb was dead.
d) Impossibilities Are Opportunities for Divine Manifestation (John 11:39-44)
Lazarus was dead, yet Jesus raised him after four days.
Biblical Example: God opened the Red Sea and Israel walked on dry ground (Exodus 14:21-22).
2. FAITH IS THE KEY TO EXPERIENCING GOD’S POSSIBILITIES
God's power responds to our faith.
a) With God, All Things Are Possible (Mark 10:27)
Jesus clearly stated that God can do what man cannot.
b) Faith Transforms the Impossible to Possible (Matthew 17:20)
Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.
c) Doubt Limits the Flow of God’s Power (James 1:6-7)
Unbelief can hinder miracles and divine breakthroughs.
d) Faith Is Believing Before Seeing (Hebrews 11:1)
Trust in God's word even when you can't see results.
Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood believed and received her healing (Mark 5:25-34).
3. GOD BREAKS NATURAL LAWS TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE
He is not bound by science, logic, or time.
a) He Made a Virgin Conceive (Luke 1:34-37)
Mary asked, “How shall this be?” and was told, “With God, nothing shall be impossible.”
b) He Suspended Time for His Servants (Joshua 10:12-14)
The sun stood still until Israel won the battle.
c) He Provided Supernaturally for His People (1 Kings 17:14-16)
The widow’s jar of oil did not run dry during famine.
d) God Can Do Exceedingly Above Our Imagination (Ephesians 3:20)
His power surpasses logic and our expectations.
Biblical Example: Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm (Matthew 14:25-32).
4. YOUR SITUATION CAN STILL CHANGE
No matter how long it's been, God is able.
a) Delay Is Not Denial With God (John 11:6-7)
Though Jesus delayed, Lazarus still came back to life.
b) God Restores Lost Years (Joel 2:25-26)
He has power to redeem time and restore what was wasted.
c) He Can Rewrite Your Story Instantly (Mark 10:46–52)
Blind Bartimaeus cried out and received his sight.
d) Keep Believing and Expecting (Isaiah 40:31)
Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
Biblical Example: The lame man at the Beautiful Gate was healed instantly (Acts 3:1-8).
CONCLUSION:
The God you serve is not limited by time, age, background, diagnosis, or any situation. He is the God of all possibilities. What men say is over, God says is just beginning. What doctors have written off, God can restore. There is no mountain too high for Him to move, no pit too deep for Him to reach.
All He requires is your faith and your willingness to trust Him beyond your understanding. Never stop praying, believing, and expecting. God is still in the business of doing wonders, and your case is not too difficult for Him.
Trust Him—and watch impossibilities turn into testimonies!
