VIII. MAIN BODY:

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

People have lots of questions, but the sad part, majority of these questions are questions of doubt. Now Apostle Paul has a question to all of us, who believed and never believed at all. Two basic questions of life: (a) If GOD is for us, who can be against us? and (b) Who can be our foe if GOD is on our side?

A. If GOD is for us, who can be against us?

"What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us?"

Rom 4:1 [BUT] IF so, what shall we say about Abraham, our forefather humanly speaking--[what did he] find out? [How does this affect his position, and what was gained by him?]

We always thought in our own mind that we have questions that can't be answered when in reality GOD has questions that man can't answer. GOD asks us and continues to ask us to remind us of Himself in us.

Remember, the LORD JESUS, He was asked with a lot of questions that JESUS knows already even before the foundation of the world, yet submits to their questions, but when GOD, the LORD JESUS asked the question, no one can answer. Why? because of unbelief, they can't believe the JESUS is both GOD and Man 100%.

Illustration:

It's a debatable thing before when I was studying in a bible college, we debated, if JESUS is 100% GOD, or 60% GOD and 40% Man? I laughed remembering that it's years ago, now I've learned from being a baby CHRISTian, that's why was it so difficult to comprehend that JESUS is Both - GOD and Man 100%, 100% GOD and 100% Man, He does not have human limitations like we do, because He is GOD.

Genesis 15:1 AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, {and} your reward shall be exceedingly great.

Numbers 14:9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense {and} the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not.

1 John 4:4 Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated {and} overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

All it takes is our belief in JESUS, just be JESUS-conscious and all of His Great Promises will be open to you. Be conscious that it is He - the LORD JESUS who is at both desiring and at work for you and in you to accomplish GOD's Purposes and His Perfect Will for you. Though men, will question you, just answer GOD'S WORDS to them, in so doing you are witness of GOD to them.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always {and} under all circumstances {and} whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
