1 Samuel 5:4”….when they arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD.”

Why do you have to run in mad circles when the God you serve keeps moving 24/7? You know what, if you get this straight into your heart and head then you would never have angst, fear and palpitations, anybody listening? The Bible says, “He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.”(Psalm 121:4) Ah, what a comfort!

Let me explain the above scripture to you first, the Philistines carried the Ark of God , which represents the presence of God Himself; however, they missed out on God – so near yet so far. They were not interested to know about the Ark or the God who represents the Ark, they were more keen on depositing it into the temple of Dagon. So they took the Ark and kept inside the temple as a gift for that idol, imagine? Now, watch what God does, in the night He moved! He moved…..are you listening? When you are worried about your salary, job, marriage, future, finances, health, children whatever….whatever….; GOD IS ON THE MOVE. Trust Him. God pushed the Dagon idol and it fell face down before the Ark, every knee should bow before our God. These guys still didn’t get it, very sad. So my point today is don’t be like those Philistines who had the opportunity to carry the Ark of God, yet know nothing about God. I am talking to those Christians who call themselves as believers, YET never read the Bible. It is closed and kept under the pillow.

The Bible says, “For the word of God is alive and active..” (Hebrews 4:12) Wow! Alive…alive…did you read that? Take your Bible and read, memorize and write notes of what God is talking to you. Don’t be ignorant, carless and negligent in the area of reading the Bible, it is only through the Word that you get to know God and His heart. Without the Bible you are blind wanderers, David said, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105 ) I am so sad to watch believers tell me, ‘I don’t find time to read the Bible’ when you say that God has to break our legs , put us in the bed and then make us read the Word. Sounds harsh? I don’t regret for saying that. READ THE BIBLE.

Zillion management theories cannot help you, read His Word and be wise and successful !

DURING THAT NIGHT / GOD DISTURBED THE KING: (Esther 6:1) “During that night the king could not sleep so he gave an order to bring the book of records, the chronicles, and they were read before the king.”

Did you get that? During that night…..which night? The night when God decided to bless Mordecai for all his past good deeds so God disturbed the sleep of king Ahasuerus, he was tossing and turning in his bed and imagine midnight he requested his servant to bring his office into his bed room – I mean the book of records. You don’t have to push your business cards to people and impress them with decorations and frills – God is on the move.

Esther 6:2 says “It was found written what Mordecai had reported concerning Bigthana and Teresh..” These two guys tried to kill the king but Mordecai saved the king and the culprits were handed over. That good deed of Mordecai was forgotten but on that night, they found out that he was not rewarded. You don’t have to manipulate to get a good appraisal, God would help you to get recognized, noted and promoted. Mordecai was honored! God is on the move!

That job you are praying for would come to you, your partner would come to you….your church building would come to you….Oh yeah, the papers would reach you….someone would knock your door and give those documents. Prophetic Word for you! Knowledge of God is very important, read this Deuteronomy 10:14 “Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.” Now this scripture is too good…we got to read it over and over again to understand the depth of His power. People fail to trust God wholeheartedly is because their knowledge of Him is limited: read “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.:(Hosea 4:6)

Around the year 2001, the HR department of the bank that I worked for, called me and warned me not to conduct prayer cells in the office and also my boss told me in the evening “ I will speak to you tomorrow about this”. I left the office with those words ringing in my ears……During that time, I was running afternoon prayer cells in the terrace of the office where I worked and there was revival happening. THAT NIGHT I could not sleep, I also told my husband about all that happened in the office, he said that he would pray for me. Normally I don’t tell him all that happens in the office so he knew that this was no small issue. During that night, God told me that He would bless me like Mordecai, watch this, next day morning, my husband joined me for prayers and said, “God told me that He was going to bless you like Mordecai”, what a confirmation! Our God is on the move! I left for office that day carrying the promise of God in my heart; my boss was normal …..he never spoke anything to me. I worked for him few more years before I resigned in the year 2004 to join as full time servant to serve the Lord. God is on the move! He will fight your battles and smash your enemies! Cheer up!
