God Is Faithful

The Faithful God

Text: Duet. 7:9 "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him, and keep the commandments to a thousand generations"

God by his very nature is a faithful God!!!!

We don’t have to lose sleep wondering if the sun is going to rise in the morning!!!!!

God is faithful …

1. God is Faithful to keep his Word - The bible says, "That he watches over his word to preform."

That word watch means - to guard, to keep, like a bird hovering over it’s nest"

God promised Abraham a son through Sarah-

It took 25 years - But God was faithful and Issac was born!

It may not seem like your answer will come, but

God is faithful!

The word will not return void!!!!

2. God is faithful to forgive- I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

God is always faithful to forgive - when we ask.

Not only to forgive but to cleanse!

Don’t let the devil tell you that God will not forgive you!

3. God is faithful to answer Prayer- God is dependable ... You’ll never get a busy signal from God!!!!

God has three answers - "Yes, No, and Wait"

He always hears and answers our prayers

4. God is faitful to Deliver- I Cor. 10:13 "There is no temptation taken you but sush as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but with the temptation also make a way to escape that we may be able to bear it."

There is no sickness or desease that God can’t deliver from . God did not promise us a bed of roses, but he did promise to deliver us out of all our troubles.

Ps. 34:7 "The righeous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”

"If God be for us, who can be against us!
