GOD IS ABLE

Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all

that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

If someone said to you, God is able! That would be a great statement. But it goes on,

God is able to do and not just able to do. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all. And not only able to do exceedingly abundantly above all but able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

I love the story of the two men standing on a bridge across the ocean. One said look at all that water and the other said, yea man, and just think that is just the top.

Genesis 18:14 – It there anything to hard for the Lord (God had told Abraham and Sarah that they are going to have a baby at 100 years old)

Job 42:2 – I know that you can do anything. And that no purpose of yours can’t be stopped. What test or trial are you facing? Do you believe God can do anything, and that nothing can stop His purposes from being fulfilled? It’s one thing to believe in God’s ability when all is well, but quite another when, like Job, you’ve lost everything and your world is falling apart.

Jeremiah 32:17 – There is nothing to hard for you. (Almighty God, you have made the heavens and the earth by your almighty power)

Luke 1:37 – For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Mary was going to have a baby. Mary said how can this be I know no man)

God is omnipotent (All powerful) and is able to do anything. No matter what you are going through our God is able to make a way and deliver you. It may seem impossible in the natural, but let me assure you on the authority of God’s Word, He is able.

Quote from Dakes Study Bible - All men (Christians) believe God can do anything, but few believe that He will. Not only God can but God will!

GOD IS ABLE TO SAVE - Hebrews 7:25 – Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him… The word “uttermost” means completely and forever.” God is able to save us completely and forever. God can save anybody. 1 Tim. 1:15 – Paul called himself Chief of Sinners GOD CAN SAVE FROM THE GUTTERMOST TO THE UTTERMOST!

GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER US – Daniel 3:17 - The three Hebrew children expressed confidence in God’s ability and said, Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.

Note they were loosed and walking free in the fire not after the fire but in the fire. If God leads us to it – He will lead us through it.

GOD IS ABLE TO HEAL - Matthew 9:28 – The blind men came to Him: and Jesus said unto them, Believe that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yes, Lord.

Jesus is still in the healing business. Whether we are suffering physically, emotionally, mentally. God is able to heal us!

The key is, will we let Him? Jesus said to a lame man, Do you wish to get well? (John 5:6) Do we really want to be made whole? That was Jesus’ condition of healing and deliverance.

GOD IS ABLE TO KEEP US FROM FALLING - Jude 24 – Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

GOD IS ABLE TO PROVIDE ALL OUR NEEDS – 2 Corinthians 9:8 - God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

YES, GOD IS ABLE: There is no pain that God can’t heal. There's no need that God can’t supply. There's no promise that God won’t keep.

YES, GOD IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US.
