Good morning, family! I'm so glad to see all of you here today.
We are going to dive into the word of God in 2 Chronicles 29:11 which says,
"My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense."
You see, God has chosen each and every one of us for a unique purpose. He has a divine plan for our lives and it's our responsibility to acknowledge and obey His choice for us.
I love what Elisabeth Elliotr said, "The will of God is never exactly what you expect it to be. It may seem to be much worse, but in the end it's going to be a lot better and a lot bigger." Our job is to trust in His choice, live in obedience to it and embrace the blessings that come from being God's chosen ones.

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for choosing us. Help us to acknowledge Your choice in our lives and give us the courage to live in obedience to it. Open our hearts to receive Your blessings and let us remember that we are Your chosen ones. We ask all these in Your mighty name, Amen.
Now, let's get into this teaching together.
Acknowledging God's choice is the conscious recognition and acceptance of God's divine plan for our lives. This acknowledgment is not merely an intellectual exercise, but a deep, spiritual understanding that God, in His infinite wisdom and love, has chosen a specific path for us. It is a realization that we are not random beings in a chaotic universe, but rather, we are purposefully created and chosen by God for a unique mission.
Biblical examples: The Bible is filled with stories of individuals who acknowledged God's choice in their lives. From Abraham, who left his homeland to establish a new nation, to Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt, to Mary, who accepted the call to become the mother of Jesus. These biblical figures acknowledged God's choice, even when it seemed daunting, even when it didn't align with their own plans. They trusted in God's wisdom and surrendered their will to His.
Requires humility: It requires us to set aside our own desires, ambitions, and plans, and to submit to God's will. It requires us to recognize that God's plans are higher than our plans, His ways are higher than our ways. This humility is not a sign of weakness, but rather, it is a sign of strength. It is a testament to our faith in God, our trust in His goodness, and our belief in His promises.
Involves a deep sense of gratitude: When we truly understand that we have been chosen by God, we can't help but be overwhelmed with gratitude. We are not chosen because of our merits or achievements, but because of God's grace. This grace is unmerited, undeserved, and unearned. It is a gift from God, and acknowledging this gift fills our hearts with profound gratitude.
Brings a sense of peace: When we accept that God is in control, that He has a plan for our lives, we can let go of our worries and anxieties. We can rest in the assurance that God is guiding us, leading us, and providing for us. We can trust that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and that His plans for us are for our good and His glory.
Not always easy: It can be challenging, especially when God's plan seems difficult or when it doesn't align with our own desires. But we must remember that God's wisdom is infinite, and His love for us is unfathomable. He sees the bigger picture, and He knows what is best for us. His choice for us is always rooted in love, and it is always for our ultimate good.
