GOD HAS A DOOR OPEN

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

(1) Noah had a door open for him.

Hebrews 11: 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

His whole family came in.

They heard and believed God’s warning.

The believed and trusted God’s word.

(2) A door was open for Israel at the red sea.

Hebrews 11: 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

God opened a passageway for them.

This was their door to safety

They escape from the egyptians.

He made it for their Salvation.

3. There was a door opened for Israel at Jordan.

Joshua 3: 15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

God stopped the waters for them.

He gave them a safe passage.

4. God open a door for Rahab.

Hebrews 11: 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

Many perished in unbelief.

Rahab was saved for her faith in God.

She was saved because the door was open by God.

5. Christ is the open door to all.

John 10: 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Romans 5: 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

1John 5: 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

6. God can close the door.

Genesis 7: 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

Genesis 7: 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

The Lord shut Noah in.

He remained till the storm pass after 40 Days & nights

The Lord shut him all others were shut out

Jesus is the only way.

The only door to God

John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
