VIII. MAIN BODY:

Why the LORD does great things for us?

A. According to His Promises and His Heart

"Because of Your promise and as Your own heart dictates,"

Because of His Promises and His Heart.

Word or "dabar" in Hebrew which means:

1. a word, a matter of thing

2. act, advice, affair, answer

3. book, business, care, case, cause, certain rate, + chronicles, commandment

Heart or "leb" in Hebrew which means:

1. the heart

2. figuratively: feelings, will and intellect

3. the center of anything

A pastor before taught us that feelings are not included in love, when it comes to the matter of heart, according to this Hebrew word "leb" feelings are included and is part of the heart, so when you love someone you have feelings for him/her. But to say that love or heart is only feelings is wrong, to love someone, you loved that person based on your feelings, will and intellect.

1. Because of His WORD:

Psalms 138:2 (Amplified Bible)

138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!

Matthew 24:35 (Amplified Bible)

24:35 Sky and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

Luke 1:72 (Amplified Bible)

1:72 To make true and show the mercy and compassion and kindness [promised] to our forefathers and to remember and carry out His holy covenant [to bless, which is all the more sacred because it is made by God Himself],

2. Because of His Heart:

Luke 12:32 (Amplified Bible)

12:32 Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!

Ephesians 1:9 (Amplified Bible)

1:9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him,

Ephesians 3:11 (Amplified Bible)

3:11 This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord,

B. GOD wants us to know and understand - already done.

"You have done all these astounding things to make Your servant know and understand."

The Aleph-Tav signature of the Alpha and Omega, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is after the word "done".

Done or "asah" in Hebrew which means:

1. accomplish, advance, appoint, apt, be at, become, bear, bestow, bring forth, bruise, be busy

There's a Filipino joke, that says "Asa ka pa!", (English: Are you still hoping?) but this word "asah" had made it possible. In GOD, all things are already past tense, it's already done.

Some of the things that are already done in GOD's WORDS and His Promises:
