God Did Seven Things For Noah

GOD DID SEVEN THINGS FOR NOAH

Genesis 6: 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

(1) He warned him.

Genesis 6: 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

God never does anything with out warning.

Adam & Eve had warning ( leave one tree alone)

Egypt had warning.

Lot and Sodom and Grammar had warning

He drove Adam & Eve from the garden. .

(2) He brought him in the Ark.

Genesis 7: 1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Luke 19: And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

Jesus came to bring salvation.

Jesus brought us to the father.

Jesus came to seek ad save the lost.

Come unto all ye and I will give you rest

(3) God shut the door.

Genesis 7: 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

1st John 4: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Galatians 5: For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

(4) God remember him.

Genesis 8: 1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

God remembered us.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

(5) God brought him out.

Genesis 8: 15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,

16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

Matthew 11: 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

(6) God accepted his sacrifice.

Genesis 8: 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Matthew 10: 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

(7) God blessed him.

Genesis 9: 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Numbers 6: The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

Nothing can still us from God if we belong to him.
