III. He Can Send Forth His Words Thru His Prophets
I. He Can Use A Nobody Or A King For His Purpose:
God is God. He can use anyone, a nobody or kings for His purpose. No one can stop Him. Only God can do these, if we're used by humans like us, it hurts, because they use us for their own good. While on the other hand, it's an amazing and proud thing to be said "Im used by God, since we know He use us for our future good and not for His personal agendas, since He does not have one. Most or majority of the kings mentioned here are all unbelievers or should we say not of Israel, but by the power of God He can use them still to do His purpose for His people. What moves the hand of God are His people, not time, not location, not influential people to do something spectacular like this. He will and can use even those people contradicting His will. (Ezra 6:13)
Ezr 6:13 Then Governor Tattenai, Shethar Bozenai, and their fellow officials did exactly as the emperor had commanded.
Isa 44:28 I say to Cyrus, 'You are the one who will rule for me; you will do what I want you to do: you will order that Jerusalem be rebuilt and that the foundations of the Temple be laid.' "
Hag 1:8 Now go up into the hills, get lumber, and rebuild the Temple; then I will be pleased and will be worshiped as I should be.
Ezra 6:14b They completed the Temple as they had been commanded by the God of Israel and by Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes, emperors of Persia.
II. He Will Finish What He Started.
God is a finisher. In fact, work is very dear to the Lord, that He treated it as His daily food. (John 4:34-35) Once He started creation and completed it in 6 days. God has a plan for all of us, and it's for our own good future. He will finish the work He started in us, from glory to glory and He will make it perfect.
John 4:34 "My food," Jesus said to them, "is to obey the will of the one who sent me and to finish the work he gave me to do.
Haggai 1:12 Then Zerubbabel and Joshua and all the people who had returned from the exile in Babylonia, did what the LORD their God told them to do. They were afraid and obeyed the prophet Haggai, the LORD's messenger.
Haggai 1:13 Then Haggai gave the LORD's message to the people: "I will be with you---that is my promise."
Haggai 1:14 The LORD inspired everyone to work on the Temple: Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah; Joshua, the High Priest, and all the people who had returned from the exile. They began working on the Temple of the LORD Almighty, their God,
Haggai 1:15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month of the second year that Darius was emperor.
III. He Can Send Forth His Words Thru His Prophets
Listen to God's Words, listen to His prophets (man of God) either your church's pastors, your bible study leaders who are assigned by God to take a look after your own soul. He's confirming His words with signs, wonders and miracles. God has a Word for you! He might send this to you on your daily devotions, thru a fellow believer, your pastors, your bible study leaders, anyone assigned over and for you, but one thing's for sure, He will make you Hear or know His Words for you. Keep on seeking Him thru God's Words, the bible. In this case, He has used prophets Haggai and Zechariah. He will use His prophets available at His disposal. It might be your time to be used by God, don't hesitate to speak out His Words, make sure you're speaking out His Words, by the way. Confirm it by His Words. Make sure you heard it from His Words, the Bible, everyday, or otherwise you're in a situation you don't want to be. Hear His Words daily by meditating God's Words.
Zechariah 4:9 He said, "Zerubbabel has laid the foundation of the Temple, and he will finish the building. When this happens, my people will know that it is I who sent you to them.
