Introduction

o I want to encourage you this morning. The Battle is the Lord’s. We can take great relief that God is on our side and we cannot fail. We have the victory.

o I want to share with you a battle plan from God. God’s anointing in our life will give us the victories in 2010.

o The anointing of God is a divine enabler.

o It is God’s supernatural ability added to our natural ability, giving us supernatural ability to succeed in any challenge we face.

o During this upcoming year, we will face battles.

o However, there is an empowerment available to us that will help us win every battle we face.

o Let us look to the Word of God this morning.

(NKJV) 1Timothy 6 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1) Be prepared for the battle.

a) Shout…Preparation is never wasted.

b) As Believers, we will fight many battles, but we win.

c) Read the end of the Book…we win! We have the VICTORY!

i) Battles are real, but our victories are more real.

ii) We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit because there will be fights we will not be able to win without Him.

d) We don’t fight against the flesh but in the spirit realm. Tune into what God is saying so you win every time.

e) Be prepared before the battle comes. Prayer, fasting, study and meditation on the Word will prepare you for the battles you will face in 2010.

i) Remember, God has a set order for us to implement to win in battle.

2) Thank God in advance for the victory.

(NKJV) 2 Corinthians 2 14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

a) Shout…I will thank God in advance for the victory.

b) Thanksgiving can be used as a weapon; it expands our capacity to receive.

c) Praise and worship places you into the throne room of God. The battle plan can be found behind the veil.

i) Our victory is only guaranteed in Christ—the anointed one and His anointing.

ii) Burdens are removed and yokes are destroyed because of the anointing.

iii) To anoint means to rub on or rub into. God is rubbing His wisdom on us.

iv) The anointing will cost us; we must pay the price through prayer and praise.

(1) When our praises go up the presence or anointing comes down.

v) Spend time with God and receive revelation from Him.

3) As we face battles in 2010, we must understand we can do the impossible with the help of the Holy Spirit.

a) Shout…God I need your anointing to fall fresh on me.

b) Get in tune with the Holy Spirit.

c) We must deal with those things that grieve the Holy Spirit.

i) Heaven is calling on us to go to a higher level of holiness.

ii) Holiness is being of one mind with God.

d) The Lord God is our might in battle.

(NKJV) Psalm 24 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.

i) Wisdom is knowing what to do when you don’t know what to do.

ii) The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord reside in us.

iii) People were so impressed by Jesus’ wisdom and His mighty works that they wondered about the source of His power.

(NKJV) Matthew 13 53 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. 54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

4) The twelve-step battle plan to victory.

a) Believe the Bible. Believe God authored it and breathed on it.

b) Study the Word. Know God’s Word.

c) Renew your mind with the Word. Exchange your thoughts for His thoughts found in His Word.

d) Honor the Word by making it the final authority in your life. Trouble should not weigh in heavier than the Word.

e) Set your mind on victory.

f) Obey the Word. By doing so, you stay connected to God.

g) Understand your covenant (the Abrahamic covenant). It is an everlasting covenant.

h) Use your mouth as a weapon to launch covenant talk. Speak the Word.

i) Labor to enter into rest. Have confidence in God’s love for you. Refuse to worry. Have peace. Keep your mind on the Word.
