Summary: When an unchanging and unrepentant husband chooses wickedness, God's heart aches for the wife and children who bear the brunt of his cruelty.

In the darkness of abuse and oppression, God's light shines bright, offering rescue and redemption to those who suffer. When an unchanging and unrepentant husband chooses wickedness, God's heart aches for the wife and children who bear the brunt of his cruelty.

*God's Promise of Deliverance*

In Psalm 34:18, we read, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." God's promise is clear: He will deliver those who are oppressed and broken.

*A New Covenant of Love*

In Isaiah 54:5, God says, "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord Almighty is his name; the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, his name is the God of all the earth." Here, God presents Himself as the ultimate Husband, who loves, cherishes, and nurtures His people.

*A Heart of Flesh, Not Stone*

In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." God longs to replace the hardness of an abusive heart with a tender, loving one.

*A New Family, A New Future*

In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus says, "No one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age...and in the age to come eternal life." When we leave behind the toxic relationships of this world, God welcomes us into a new family, with a new future.

*Hope in the Midst of Suffering*

Dear friend, if you are trapped in a cycle of abuse, know that God sees you, hears you, and longs to rescue you. Hold onto His promises, and trust that He will bring you into a new season of love, joy, and peace."

*Prayer*

Lord God, I cry out to You in my darkness. Please rescue me and my children from the grip of abuse. Give us a new heart, a new spirit, and a new family. May Your love and redemption be our portion. Amen."
