Summary: Scriptures encourage you to trust in God's provision and care, and to seek first His kingdom and righteousness.
As children of God, we are called to trust in His provision and care. The Bible assures us that God will supply all our needs, and we don't have to worry about our jobs, hard work, finances, or inflation. Here are 10 reasons why:
God is our Shepherd: Psalm 23:1-4 reminds us that God is our Shepherd, who leads us to green pastures and still waters. He will provide for our needs.
God's promise to provide: In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or what we will wear. God will provide for our needs.
Our Father's goodness: In Matthew 7:7-11, Jesus reminds us that our Father in heaven is good and will give us good things when we ask Him.
God's sovereignty over all: In Psalm 50:10-12, we are reminded that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and that He will provide for our needs.
Our inheritance in Christ: In Romans 8:14-17, we are reminded that we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Our inheritance includes God's provision for our needs.
God's faithfulness: In Deuteronomy 7:9, we are reminded that God is faithful and will keep His covenant with us, including providing for our needs.
Our dependence on God: In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not to lean on our own understanding.
God's care for the birds and flowers: In Matthew 6:25-30, Jesus reminds us that God cares for the birds and flowers, and He will certainly care for us.
Our priority on seeking God's kingdom: In Matthew 6:33, Jesus teaches us to seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all our needs will be met.
God's promise to bless us: In Psalm 37:3-5, we are reminded to trust in the Lord and do good, and He will bless us and provide for our needs.
