Psalm 122 God's House

1. The Place of Gladness Here

The Inspiration - 1 I was glad

The Invitation - when they said unto me,

The Integration - Let us

The Inclination - go into

The Installation - the house of the Lord.

There is Grace, Goodness, Godliness, and Glory in God's House

2. The Privilege of Gladness Here

The Reach of Salvation - 2 Our feet

The Reality of Salvation - shall stand

The Realm of Salvation - within thy gates,

The Riches of Salvation - O Jerusalem.

Paul's Readiness - Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Paul's Restlessness - 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Paul's Righteousness - 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

3. The Purity of Gladness Here

3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

AMP - Jerusalem, that is built As a city that is firmly joined together;

Their Head - 1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

Their House - 5 ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Their Hope - 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (will never be put to shame)

4. The Purpose of Gladness Here

Their Number - 4 whither the tribes go up, (Plural) - All the tribes

Their Nature - the tribes of the Lord,

His Readied, His Ransomed, His Redeemed.

Their Nurture - unto the testimony of Israel,

Their Name - to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

5. The Prospect of Gladness Here

5 For there are set thrones of judgment, or There stand the thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Here stands - Perpetual Justice, Permanent Justice, Perfect Justice, Pure Justice.

6. The Prayer of Gladness Here -

A Prayer for Peace - 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

A Prayer for Prosperity - 7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

The Source of Prosperity -

3 John 1:1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

The Sense of Prosperity - 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper

and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The Secret of Prosperity - 3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came

and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

A Prayer for Perfection - 8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes,

I will now say, Peace be within thee.

(Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth, as in Heaven)

A Prayer for Promotion - 9 Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek thy good.
