Summary: God loves us so much that he chooses to Favor us.
God is a good God and loves us all so much that He had to send His only Begotten Son to save us all from the kingdom of Satan and translated us into the kingdom of His Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We remember that He said in His word that He loved us even before we knew Him - 1 John 4:19.
The love that God has for us is more than we his children can ever comprehend. His love for us is just too much and until we go back to his kingdom and meet him face to face is when we can grasp the depth of his love for us as his children. God loves us and cares for us all so much that even the enemy Satan does not understand it - Psalm 8:4.
The earth that we are living in at the present moment has limited the love that God as for us all, and this is because of the things that is happening in our lives and around us, so much is going on that our understanding of the love that God has for us is been clouded by all the problems that we are going through every day and not only that Satan himself who is the god of this earth is causing us not to understand God's love for us. But God loves us all no matter how far we have gone from him. The love that He has for us is from eternity to eternity and all we can do is to embrace his love for us and delight in the fact that God loves us.
His love for us is why he Favors us his children that he sent his Son to die for us all. And this is Favor from our creator
God created us in his own image and likeness - Genesis 1:27 This is Favor.
God sent His Son to die for us all - John 3:16 This is also Favor.
God cares for us all and wants the best for us all at all times, even when we are not in a right state of mind, He still showers us all with favour. Favor is when God does things beyond our own imagination, in his infinite mercy when we do not deserve favour, he does favour us and does not go back on his word. The Favor of God is not something we should take lightly, He simply Favors us all and nothing on the face of this earth can ever stop him from favouring us, his children that he loves so much.
Let's check from the scriptures about God's Favor:
Proverbs 3:4
And so, find Favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.
Psalms 5:12
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous.
With Favor, you will surround him as with a shield.
2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says:
In an acceptable time, I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation, I have helped you.
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Daniel 1:9
Now God had brought Daniel into the Favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.
And looking at the scriptures we can also see how God Favors his children, in times of famine, trouble, sickness and all the things that Satan throws at us the children of God. God said in his word that he will never leave us nor, forsake us - Hebrews 13:5; Deuteronomy 31:6. God is ever a faithful God - 2 Timothy 2:13 is a powerful scripture to read often when we are faced with challenging situations that seem to shake our faith or trust in God. That in all circumstance of life we have a God that will always Favor us above it all. Like he said he is not ready to leave us in any difficult condition, when he has all the power to save us.
Let's go to the word of God and we see some of God's children that were in serious conditions, but God favoured them:
Esther 5:8
Esther’s Banquet
Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found Favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the sceptre.
And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!”
